made to order

All Ferrarini projects are made to order, so no two projects will ever be the same. We pride ourselves on the ability to customize and optimize any space based on the client's home and vision. Our process is tailored to individualism, uniqueness, and self expression. We believe every client should be able to feel that their home is wonderfully and distinctively theirs.

How about interests and passions? All of our projects start with a blank piece of paper allowing for an infinite of possibilities. Are you a craft beer brewer, a wine connoisseur, or maybe an aspiring sushi chef? This is the beauty of true customization. We are only limited by our mind's framework. No idea is a bad idea and we enjoy the challenge to innovate what is unprecedented.

family haven

This project consisted of major construction (removal of load bearing walls, etc.) which all proved to be well worth it for our client and her family (including the family dog). Every room in the house was segmented and felt very isolated. By partially removing two walls and adding a window seat this allowed the family to be in separate rooms while still feeling connected.

a new home in an old house

Client initially retained us to design/build addition but after an in-depth review of the house and the family's need we were able to create the ideal space by simply re-configuring the existing square footage. The dining room was over-sized and underused, which allowed us to relocate a primary wall in the kitchen to create a much larger foot print. Additionally we added an extra window to allow more natural light in.  Once it was done the clients felt that they were in a completely new home.

multi-Functional oasis

Entertaining in a bathroom never looked so good. Probably a thought that never crossed your mind, but a space as unique as this can do just that. The fusion of so many elements: an open concept shower, freestanding tub, washer/dryer organization, toilet room and urinal, an uncharacteristic residential choice that pairs well with beer, wings, and hockey.

Intimate victorian

While the residence overflowed with charm, the home’s central space for entertaining deeply lacked functionality, crying out for an expansion of the essential work triangle. The new stained glass window offers privacy from the busyness of the patrons but feels native to the home and allows daylight to dance across the floor. A rich variety of color and texture in the materials keep your eye entertained as you pass throughout the space. The three step crown molding, pillowed hand glazed tile, and vibrant paint color are just three details that add layers of appreciation for the true craftsmanship that echoes the neighborhood.

fluidity with a glow

A glowing kitchen with several degrees of refinement and liberation. Radiating in a very literal sense with toe-kick and crown molding LED illumination. Fluidity with the waterfall counter-top and continuous crown illumination. Finally liberty is signified throughout the entire kitchen with the overall spaciousness, and specifically with the head space above cooktop.

MODERN LIVING IN MONTCO

After the birth of two new born twins our clients decided to move from the center city Philadelphia to Villanova  PA. The house was very charming, however they still desired a kitchen with an overall casual/modern feel to it. The goal here was to achieve modern  living in a traditional home. We incorporated the shaker door and subway tile to walk the fine line perfectly. With the addition of the wood bi-level top and the bold lightning the space came together in a very harmonious way.

the loft

This project is for a third floor in South Philadelphia. The third floor serves as the master bath, master bedroom, and entrance to deck. We creatively reconfigured the layout to accommodate those three functions. The primary goal here was to create a private entry way to deck without guest seeing bathroom while leaving a free flow from bedroom to bath.

Blurred lines

On this project we removed several walls and incorporated bi-fold windows and bi-fold doors which lead out to the deck. The primary design idea to blur the lines from being inside/outside. When the windows and doors are open along with the (2) skylights one may really forget that they are actually in doors.

simple elegance

Here is a bathroom design for a local Elkins Park project. This master bathroom has all of the key attributes you would expect from a luxury master bath: custom shower, bench, handspray, double vanity, custom pantry, toilet room, and 2 suspended chandeliers.
